Monument to the poet Adam Mizkevich is a work of sculptor Knyazik and architect Murmanov and it was opened on the 2nd of September 2004 in honor of 210 years of Odessa on the corner of Alexandrovsyi prospect and Bunina street. A great Polish poet lived for 9 months in Odessa in 1825. Exactly here he wrote a line of his famous works, including well-known “Crimean sonnets”.
