Ingredients:
1 salted herring
1-2 onions
1 sour apple
White bread -
200 g.
boiled water
(room temperature) - 200 mL.
butter - 20 g.
sugar - 0.5 tee spoon
vinegar
(optional) -1 tee spoon
citric acid -1
pinch
or lemon juice -
to taste
ground black
pepper - 1pinch
herbs for
decoration - to taste
Gill and wash the
herring. Depending on the degree of salinity the herring can be soaked in milk
for 2-4 hours. Fillet the herring, separate the bones. Cut the crust from
slices of bread. Put the bred-crumb in a
bowl with boiled water. Peel the apple and cut it into pieces. Cut the fillet into pieces as well. Chop the onion. Mix everything
together. Squeeze the water out of the
bread. And add the bread to the mixture. Then pass it through a mincing machine. Mix
it again. Add butter, pepper, lemon juice, sugar. You can season it with
vinegar. Garnish with herbs.
