You can get to Odessa by plane, by train, by bus or by car. Even by sea. Here are gathered all the options. Among them you can choose the most appropriate.
From sea port of Illichevsk, located under Odessa, regularly leave ferries to Istanbul and Varna. To Odessa sea port you can get on a private yacht or a cruise ship.
Odessa is connected with a regular bus communication with Kiev, Lviv, Kharkiv and other regional centers of Ukraine. There are bus routes to Berlin, Prague, Budapest, Warsaw, Paris and other European capitals.
From Odessa train station on a daily basis trains depart to Lviv, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv and other main cities in Ukraine. To Kiev few trains depart every day. It is advised to book tickets in advance, especially before Christmas.
Odessa airport is located within the city. You can get there from center by using a taxi and it will only take half an hour.
