Tourism Development Association "Big Odessa" establishes cooperation between Ukraine and Uzbekistan

Association for Development of Tourism in the Odessa region has become a participant of the program of development of a new "Silk Road" from China to Europe.

In 2015, more than 109 million Chinese has gone on tourist trips. According to the State Tourism Administration of the Chinese People's Republic they spent more than $ 500 billion during their trips. Many countries have already realized that Chinese tourists can be an important source of replenishment of the budget and economic development. In recent years Belarus and the Central Asian republics have tried hard to attract Chinese tourists to them.

Meanwhile Ukraine has been away from this tourist flow. Few Chinese will expressly fly to us over 10 thousand kilometers. But Ukraine is close to the path of the tourists who go to Europe or Russia through Central Asia. They are the very people our country could attract. It is much easier to do in cooperation with other countries. That is why Odessa Tourism Association "Big Odessa" met the delegation of entrepreneurs from Uzbekistan headed by Ilhom Sayfiev.

In addition, Uzbekistan is in need of an access to the sea, through which it could export its products worldwide. Ukraine could get from it a lot of economic benefits.

Uzbek businessmen met with the mayor of Yuzhne then they visited the Odessa Port Plant and its recreation center, which is not inferior to the capital's concert halls.

Last year tour operators, restaurateurs, hoteliers and representatives of show business teamed up Tourism Development Association "Big Odessa". The main objective of the association is to attract to Odessa and Odessa region world tourist flows. To do this, it distributes information about all the places and events in the Odessa region, which may be of interest for tourists. So it is developing the infrastructure for relations with travel companies from all over the world.

Now Odessa and Yuzhne must be prepared to receive thousands of visitors and to do everything in order our guests would like to come back again.
